Wellbeing in the Workplace

In 2023, wellbeing has become a major focus for society as people have realised the importance of taking care of their physical, emotional, and mental health.

Here are some reasons why wellbeing is such a focus in 2023 and why it’s so important to us at The Business Creative.

Firstly, the pandemic has had a significant impact on people’s lives, causing widespread anxiety, stress, and uncertainty. As a result, people have become more aware of the importance of their mental health and have started prioritising self-care and wellbeing practices.

Secondly, technology has made it easier for people to access information about wellbeing and connect with others who are on a similar journey. Social media platforms have become a hub for wellbeing information, with influencers and experts sharing tips on everything from nutrition and fitness to mindfulness and meditation.

Thirdly, the rise of remote working has also contributed to the focus on wellbeing. With more people working from home, there has been a growing recognition of the need to create healthy work environments that support employees’ physical and mental health.

At the Business Creative, we practise remote working which has many advantages and is proving to be really successful for our business. However, we are very mindful of promoting wellbeing on a day-to-day basis. It’s a topic that we discuss regularly and this subject features on the agenda at all of our quarterly team meetings (which are all conducted face-to-face and in person).

Many people are realising that prevention is key when it comes to maintaining good health and are taking steps to improve their wellbeing through diet, exercise, and other lifestyle changes. This is a mindset which we actively promote within our company and as a team, we actively encourage each other to place emphasis on our wellbeing and overall health.

Our company’s focus on wellbeing in 2023 is a reflection of society’s growing awareness of the importance of taking care of ourselves. Whether it’s through practising mindfulness, eating a healthy diet, or exercising regularly, people are realising that investing in their wellbeing is the key to living a happier, healthier life. Long may it continue ❤️
