The Brief:
To create a totally unique entertainment production, driving additional footfall to the area where Pearl Diving experiences and merchandise were being sold. The show needed to make use of a 5 metre deep water tank, designed to house a unique Pearl Diving experience. Despite being traditional in origin, the show should be totally unique to Yas Waterworld and showcase world-class talent.

The Business Creative collaborated with world renowned water entertainment company, Aquabatix, to produce a totally unique water entertainment production.
Telling the story of the middle eastern tradition of pearl diving, The Spirit Of The Pearl, combined the talents of an international cast of actors with those of Aquabatix’s highly-skilled underwater performers (including former olympic athletes), inverting the performance to present the audience with a truly innovative underwater ballet.
Combined with a bespoke soundtrack and stunning special effects, the shows were performed up to 6 times a day and drew in crowds for nearly 3 years.
