Why the Business Creative:
As a team of training and creative specialists, The Business Collective has more than 60+ years of experience in the leisure, visitor attraction, travel and tourism sectors, so this project was a no-brainer for us! TUI wanted standout training content ‘’like nothing they’d ever had before’’ and our original, creative approach to all our projects makes us the perfect choice. Unique ways to learn
Providing travel to more than six million holidaymakers in the UK & Ireland alone, TUI required tailored training to support their diverse trainees. From travel agents to cabin crew and engineers, TUI’s valued employees are unique. People learn in different ways, absorb information at different rates, and we create training modules that cater to specific needs. Our years of experience within the tour operator, leisure attraction and entertainment industry have given us an exclusive insight into how to deliver results – focused training to targeted demographics.
Our creative approach is designed to shake up traditional staff training and provide packages that unlock the true potential of employees. For TUI, we created a multi-layered solution, producing immersive and informative modules to resonate with and captivate trainees. We produced a series of interactive online training modules, targeting the key areas TUI required for its Blue For Two hosts to focus on. From understanding lighting and sound to PR & guest relations, all bases were covered. We ensured the modules were fresh, bold, and targeted at the learning style of Generation X:

We host the modules on the cloud-based interactive online employee learning platform that we own and operate – ILO (www.hello-ilo)
As well as contemporary content, we believe that trainees should not only know what they’re doing but why they’re doing it. And every aspect of our training is underpinned by the crucial questions: What is the moment? What emotion will we evoke? What will trainees remember?
This project is such a phenomenal ongoing success and TUI has engaged us in creating more interactive online modules for them, most recently working on non-entertainment-related training for TUI Blue Concept and the set up and management for the TUI Blue App.
