Award-winning stand-up comedian Jen Brister joins us to share with us a few of her holiday and travel experiences. Giving advice on travelling with children in a same-sex relationship, Jen tells us where she would consider going and places she would actively avoid, including information on how audiences react to her humour in different countries.
Jen discusses her family set-up as she is The ‘Other Mother’ (which is also the title of Jens book!) to two twin boys in a same-sex relationship, her hometown of Brighton and what the appeal is for people of the LGBTQ+ community. She also shares some information about her upcoming fundraising night of stand-up comedy for a charity called Bloody Good Period.
Jamie shares with us his Proud Package LGBTQ+ friendly destinations. These include Brighton, Berlin, Toronto, Sydney and Copenhagen and San Francisco as some of the most progressive cities.
