As part of the diverse portfolio of projects that we work on at The Business Creative, we have partnered with a new radio station called Travel Radio (https://www.travel.radio/) and are proud to be producing the UK’s only radio show focusing on LGBTQ+ travel, called Wish You Were Queer.  Travel Radio is a global, digital radio station with an on air and social media reach of over 700,000, exclusively for those who work in or are associated with the world of travel in any form or those who just simply love to travel.

The show will run weekly for an initial period of 12 weeks and include a number of really fun LGBTQ+ features.  Our aims for the show are that it is topical, relevant, informative, inclusive, entertaining and quality.

In this episode of Wish You Were Queer we were lucky enough to have Garth Howells join us as our special Hot Seat guest.  Gareth created the hilarious Instagram sensation Hunsnet, that took social media by storm during lockdown.  If you’re British and on Instagram, you will be hard pushed to miss Hunsnet – but just in case you’re yet to discover your ‘inner Hun’, our host Jamie Greaves will be giving you all an educati-HUN regarding – what Hun culture actually is.

Jamie and Gareth also talk about the success of the brand and its venture into merchandise and events and of course – how to be a Hun on Holibobs, whilst sipping on your cocky t’s!

As always. the show is packed with lots of other great features.  We’ll be discussing what’s hot and what’s not in the world of LGBTQ+ Travel with the ever popular Top or Bottom.  Will you be able to guess who left their black toilet roll at Lost Luggage in the hilarious Flying Handbag feature or will Jamie’s featured Proud Package get your attention?

We hope you enjoy the show – we certainly enjoy flying the flag for you!
